These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RxFolio application, this website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account, accessing, or using RxFolio, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. About RxFolio

RxFolio is a personal health-information management application designed to help you:

• Track medications and set medication reminders;
• Maintain medication history;
• Record health information, symptoms, conditions, procedures, and allergies;
• Record health measurements and vitals;
• Organize medical documents such as prescriptions, reports, bills, and discharge summaries;
• Connect supported cloud-storage accounts;
• Process selected medical documents;
• Generate health summaries and prepare information for healthcare visits;
• Share selected information with healthcare professionals or other people you choose.

RxFolio is intended to assist you in organizing your own health information, or the information of a person for whom you have appropriate authority.

2. Not medical advice

RxFolio is not a medical device, healthcare provider, doctor, pharmacist, hospital, emergency service, or substitute for professional medical advice.

RxFolio does not independently diagnose medical conditions or prescribe medication. Nothing in the Service should be interpreted as:

• Medical diagnosis;
• Medical treatment;
• Medical or pharmaceutical advice;
• Emergency medical guidance;
• A recommendation to start, stop, or modify medication; or
• A substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.

Always follow the advice of your doctor, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare professional.

3. Emergency situations

RxFolio is not an emergency medical service. Do not rely on RxFolio for emergency medical decisions. If you experience symptoms that may indicate a medical emergency, immediately contact the appropriate emergency service or seek professional medical attention.

RxFolio does not guarantee that notifications, reminders, alerts, or communications will be delivered.

4. Eligibility

You may use RxFolio only if you are legally capable of entering into these Terms under the laws applicable to you. RxFolio is intended for adults. Under Indian law, an individual who has not completed eighteen (18) years of age is a child, and a child may not create an independent RxFolio account; a parent or lawful guardian may instead manage a profile for that child within their own account.

If you use RxFolio on behalf of another person, including a family member, caregiver relationship, or dependent, you represent that you have the authority necessary to do so.

5. Your account

Authentication is provided through Google, Microsoft, or another supported identity provider. Your use of that provider is also subject to that provider’s terms. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your RxFolio account, and you agree to:

• Provide accurate information and keep it current;
• Protect your authentication credentials and device;
• Not share credentials with unauthorized persons;
• Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised; and
• Not use another person’s account without authorization.

6. Online service and connectivity

RxFolio is an online service. Access to a reachable RxFolio API over the internet is required to use health-record features. When the application cannot reach the service, it shows an unavailable state rather than presenting potentially stale health information. RxFolio does not promise offline browsing of your health records, and you should not rely on the application as your only copy of critical medical information.

7. Health information you provide

You may enter health information into RxFolio. You represent that you have the right to provide the information you submit. If you upload, connect, or provide information relating to another person, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the appropriate authority, permission, or legal basis to do so. This is particularly important when using RxFolio for children, parents, spouses, other family members, patients, clients, or other third parties.

8. Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive

RxFolio may allow you to connect supported cloud-storage accounts. By connecting such an account, you authorize RxFolio to access the resources covered by the permissions you approve, and RxFolio will use that access only for the functionality described to you. You may revoke authorization through the relevant provider at any time.

RxFolio is not responsible for:

• Availability of Google Drive or OneDrive;
• Changes to Google or Microsoft APIs or permission models;
• Service outages or changes to third-party terms;
• Loss or corruption occurring within the third-party service; or
• Third-party processing outside RxFolio’s control.

9. Your documents and content

You retain ownership of the documents and information you provide to RxFolio. You grant RxFolio a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to host, store, process, transmit, and display that information solely to provide the Service and the functionality you request, and to the extent necessary to comply with law. This licence ends when you delete the relevant content or your account, subject to the retention limits described in the Privacy Policy.

RxFolio does not acquire ownership of your medical records, prescriptions, reports, or other documents merely because you use the Service.

10. Medication tracking and reminders

Medication tracking and reminders are organizational tools. You are responsible for verifying:

• Medication identity, dosage, frequency, and timing;
• Prescription instructions and duration of treatment;
• Medication interactions; and
• Any changes recommended by healthcare professionals.

RxFolio does not guarantee that medication reminders will be delivered at a particular time or at all. Notifications may be affected by device settings, operating-system restrictions, battery-saving settings, network connectivity, notification permissions, application state, device failures, service outages, or other circumstances outside RxFolio’s control.

11. Information recorded against documents

When a prescription, report, bill, discharge summary, or other document is attached, the medication names, dosages, dates, values, and other fields recorded against it are the ones entered by you or by another person using your account. They may be incomplete or incorrect. You must verify them against the original document before relying on them for any medical purpose.

RxFolio does not read, scan, or interpret the contents of a stored document, and performs no optical character recognition on it. Accordingly, RxFolio does not guarantee that the fields stored against a document match the document, that a document is legible, or that the information recorded is medically accurate.

12. Your responsibility for data

You are responsible for the information you enter into RxFolio. You should:

• Review important information and correct inaccuracies;
• Maintain appropriate independent backups where necessary;
• Verify medication information and generated reports; and
• Avoid relying solely on RxFolio for critical medical information.

13. Visit-preparation reports

RxFolio may provide features that generate summaries or reports for discussion with healthcare professionals. Such a report may contain current and previous medications, symptoms, conditions, allergies, procedures, vitals, health observations, relevant document information, and other information you select.

A report is not a medical diagnosis or clinical recommendation, and its wording is generated automatically — see section 15. Review a report before relying on it or sharing it with anyone.

14. Care sharing and guest access

If you invite another person to access a profile you own, you are responsible for choosing that person and the permissions you grant, and for having the authority to disclose the information where the profile relates to someone else. You can change or revoke access at any time, but you cannot recall information that has already been viewed, exported, or shared onwards.

If you accept an invitation to access another person’s profile, you agree to use that access only for the caregiving purpose intended and in accordance with applicable law.

Guest access is a separate, Pro-plan feature: a time-boxed, read-only PIN tied to a clinic phone number you enter. The guest does not become a RxFolio account holder. You are responsible for sharing the PIN only with the intended clinic, for choosing a duration that fits the visit, and for revoking the window when it is no longer needed. Anyone who has the registered phone number and PIN can view that profile until the window ends or you revoke it.

15. Automated generation and its limits

The wording of a visit-preparation report is drafted automatically by a language model, so the output may contain errors. Automatically generated information must not be treated as authoritative medical information, and you remain responsible for reviewing a report before acting upon it or sharing it.

Generating a report sends the records you selected to our service, and, only where a deployment is configured to use a third-party model rather than our self-hosted one, onward to that provider — as described in the Privacy Policy. Generation is optional and the rest of the Service works without it. RxFolio may restrict, rate-limit, or disable automated functionality when necessary for security, reliability, legal, regulatory, or operational reasons, and may fall back to a plain structured summary assembled without a model.

16. Availability

We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, infrastructure or internet failures, cloud-provider or third-party API outages, security incidents, natural disasters, cyberattacks, regulatory requirements, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

17. Third-party services

RxFolio integrates with third-party services including authentication providers, cloud-storage providers, cloud infrastructure providers, notification services, app stores, and payment processors. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies, and RxFolio is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, availability, security, or policies of third-party providers.

18. Privacy

Your use of RxFolio is also governed by the RxFolio Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. It describes the information we collect, how we use and store it, data-sharing practices, retention, account deletion, your privacy rights, and our security practices.

19. Prohibited uses

You must not use RxFolio to:

• Violate applicable law;
• Access another person’s account or health information without authorization;
• Attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, or security controls;
• Introduce malware, or attack or disrupt the Service;
• Reverse engineer the Service except where expressly permitted by law;
• Scrape the Service in an unauthorized manner or circumvent usage limits;
• Provide unauthorized medical services or hold RxFolio out as clinical care;
• Conduct unlawful surveillance of another person;
• Upload content that you do not have the right to process; or
• Use the Service in a manner that could harm RxFolio, its users, or third parties.

20. Intellectual property

The RxFolio application, website, software, design, branding, logos, trademarks, documentation, and underlying technology are owned by or licensed to RRCH Labs. Except for the limited rights expressly granted under these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to you. You retain ownership of your own health information and documents.

21. Feedback

If you voluntarily provide suggestions, feedback, feature requests, or ideas regarding RxFolio, you grant us permission to use that feedback to improve the Service without compensation to you, provided that such use does not disclose your confidential personal information or health information.

22. Subscriptions and payments

RxFolio offers a free tier and may offer paid plans. Where paid features are offered:

• Pricing is presented before purchase, and applicable taxes may be added;
• Subscription and renewal terms are disclosed at the time of purchase;
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled;
• Cancellation is managed through the store or processor used for the purchase — for Android, in your Google Play subscriptions; for iOS, in your Apple account settings;
• App-store purchases are additionally governed by Apple or Google payment terms;
• Free-tier feature limits may apply and may change with notice.

Deleting your RxFolio account does not automatically cancel a store subscription; cancel it separately with the store. Any refund rights required by applicable law remain unaffected.

23. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to RxFolio if:

• You materially violate these Terms;
• Your use creates a security, legal, or regulatory risk;
• You engage in fraudulent activity or attempt unauthorized access;
• Required by law; or
• We discontinue the Service.

You may stop using RxFolio at any time and delete your account. Where practicable, we will provide reasonable notice before termination, except where immediate action is necessary.

24. Effect of account termination

After account termination:

• Your access to the Service ceases;
• Your stored information is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy;
• Certain information may remain temporarily in our own disaster-recovery backups while they rotate;
• Information we are required to retain by law may be retained;
• Documents in your Google Drive or OneDrive remain subject to those services’ policies and must be deleted by you;
• Store subscriptions must be cancelled separately.

Export your data before deleting your account if you want to keep a copy. See Data Retention & Deletion.

25. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RxFolio is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will always be available or error-free;
• Data will always be synchronized correctly;
• Notifications will always be delivered;
• Generated visit-preparation reports will be accurate;
• Health information will always be complete;
• Reports will contain all relevant information;
• Third-party services will remain available;
• Information will never be lost; or
• The Service will satisfy every user’s requirements.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a legal warranty or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.

26. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RRCH Labs and its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use RxFolio. Where legally permitted, this includes loss resulting from:

• Reliance on medication reminders;
• Reliance on medical information recorded against a stored document;
• Reliance on generated reports;
• Third-party cloud-storage services;
• Service interruption or loss of data; or
• Medical decisions made without appropriate professional advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 1,000.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

27. Your responsibility to seek professional medical care

RxFolio does not replace professional medical care. You should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional regarding diagnosis, treatment, medication changes, medication interactions, allergies, symptoms, test results, surgical procedures, medical emergencies, and any other medical decision.

28. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RRCH Labs and its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from:

• Your unlawful use of the Service;
• Your violation of these Terms;
• Your violation of another person’s rights;
• Your unauthorized submission of another person’s information; or
• Your misuse of the Service.

This provision does not apply to the extent that the claim resulted from our own unlawful conduct or from liability that cannot legally be transferred to you.

29. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the application, this website, email, or other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law. If you do not accept the revised Terms, stop using the Service and delete your account.

30. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, unless applicable mandatory law requires otherwise. Subject to applicable law, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [CITY, STATE], India.

Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection law in their country of residence, or of the right to bring proceedings in a forum that such law makes available.

31. Severability and waiver

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

32. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the RxFolio Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly incorporated into the Service, constitute the agreement between you and RRCH Labs regarding your use of the Service.
