Delete your RxFolio account and data
You can delete your RxFolio account here, or from inside the app under Settings → Account → Delete account & data. Read this page first — deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
1. What will be deleted
We remove the data associated with your identity from RxFolio’s systems, in a single deletion workflow:
- Your account and subscriber record, including plan and entitlement state;
- All structured health data: medications, schedules, dose times, intake logs, and medication label images you attached (photos only, not analysed);
- Vitals and health measurements, symptoms, moods, activities, allergies, conditions, and procedures;
- Reports, prescriptions, discharge notes, bills, insurance details, hospital records, doctors, and hospital visits;
- Health profiles you created, including profiles for family members you manage;
- Document reference records held by RxFolio;
- Care grants you created, and grants where you were the invited caregiver;
- Synchronization state, preferences, and usage counters;
- Your signed-in session; tokens on this device are cleared when deletion completes.
This is a real deletion, not a disabled or frozen account. See Data Retention & Deletion for the full record-by-record scope.
2. What will not be deleted
-
Files in your own Google Drive or OneDrive. Your documents under
RxFolio/Profiles/<profile id>/Records/are ordinary PDFs and images in your account, kept in their original format, so they stay there and remain openable from any device after your RxFolio account is gone. Delete that folder yourself if you want them removed. - Your subscription. Cancel it in Google Play subscriptions or your Apple account settings. Deleting your RxFolio account does not stop store billing.
- Your Google or Microsoft account. We cannot delete it. You may separately revoke RxFolio’s access in that provider’s security settings.
- Reports you already shared. Anything you sent to a doctor, caregiver, or family member stays with that recipient.
- Our encrypted backups already written. Your data persists in the rotating disaster-recovery backups we hold on our own infrastructure for a limited period, until those backups age out and are overwritten.
- Records we must keep by law. Billing and tax records, and the security and audit events needed to detect and investigate unauthorized access, are retained for their statutory period. Where possible we anonymize the identifiers rather than keep them linked to you. We never place health information into deletion audit records.
3. Export first if you want a copy
We cannot restore an individual account after deletion. If you want to keep your records, open the RxFolio app and download an account data export from Account settings before you continue.
4. Confirm your identity and delete
To protect your health data we must confirm that the request comes from you. Sign in with the same Google or Microsoft account you use in the RxFolio app. Your sign-in is handled by that provider; RxFolio never sees your password, and the identity token stays in your browser and is sent only to the RxFolio API over HTTPS.
Account deletion
Choose the provider you use for RxFolio:

This permanently deletes the RxFolio account above and all health data in it. It cannot be undone, and we cannot restore it from backups.
Case-sensitive. This is the last step.
Remaining clean-up you may want to do yourself:
-
Keep or delete the
RxFolio/folder in your Google Drive or OneDrive — your documents there are still readable, so most people keep it; - Cancel any RxFolio subscription in Google Play or your Apple account;
- Revoke RxFolio’s access in your Google or Microsoft account security settings;
- Uninstall the app from your devices.
5. If sign-in does not work
You do not lose your right to erasure if this page cannot authenticate you — for example if you no longer have access to the email account, or your browser blocks the sign-in.
- Delete from inside the app: Settings → Account → Delete account & data;
-
Or email

with the subject
Erasure request.
We may need to verify your identity before acting, so that we never delete someone else’s health records on an unverified request. We respond within the period required by applicable law, and our internal target is to acknowledge within 3 business days and resolve within 30 days. See Privacy Request.
